The activities began Dean Brown posing as Anderson’s Super Hero for the Campus Decorating Contest. (insert Picture of the DEAN as Super man). Alumni faculty and staff from around campus voted and Anderson took 4th place!
Anderson faculty, staff and students also participated in the Homecoming Community Service Event collecting travel size toiletries for the APS Homeless Project, and toilet paper rolls for the Ronald McDonald House throughout homecoming week.
Friday afternoon kick-started the Homecoming weekend with Anderson’s very own, Dr. Scott Taylor, Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior, as he presented a talk on Emotional Intelligence. Approximately 75 alumni and friends came to the Jackson Student Center to learn how outstanding leaders, executives and managers distinguish themselves by their ability to understand and manage themselves—and understand and work with others.
Following Dr. Taylor’s presentation, alumni and friends were shuttled to Hodgin Hall for an Anderson School of Management Reunion and an Alumni Artist and Author Reception. The lights were bright, the laughter was loud, the food was great and the drinks were pouring. A great time was had by all with plans for more next year!
