The Anderson Deans Council supports academic excellence through a minimum annual gift of $1,250. A commitment of three years is requested. These monies fund School priorities, which include transformational learning experiences for students such as the Washington Campus Program, the new Chair for Economic Development and the proposed Student Event Center.
Alumni and friends have highly varied and personal motivations for making gifts to the Anderson School of Management. Some graduates regard their contributions as an act of appreciation for what the Anderson School has given them. A gift to the Anderson School means a great deal to the future: attracting the best and brightest students, creating an environment where teaching and learning can flourish, and preparing graduates to be successful and productive members of society.
At Anderson we are committed to: 1) shaping the intellect and character of the next generation of New Mexicos business leaders, 2) advancing the knowledge and practice of management, 3) promoting economic development, and 4) building a vibrant intellectual community that serves the highest and best interests of all our stakeholders. Unrestricted giving helps us further each of these goals.
Individuals, couples or combined household gifts will be recognized in the UNM Annual Report of Gifts and Anderson Today alumni & friends magazine. Members receive invitations to all Anderson School events and programs. At least annually the members will be invited to lunch with the Dean of the Anderson School for an update and discussion. Many members participate at the School by speaking in classes or to student clubs.
