Ph.D. Sponsorships
We have eight Ph.D. bursaries available of $150 each. Each bursary will be used to offset the conference
registration fee so that you will pay $150 rather than $300.
Five of the bursaries are from Emerald Group Publishing and three are from the internationally-ranked
journal Management Learning.
If you are a Ph.D. student with limited or no funding from your university, and would like to apply,
please email Ann Cunliffe by February 19th, 2012 at alcqrm@mgt.unm.edu.
Please provide information on your program, year of study, and whether you have funding for the conference from
any other sources.
Ph.D. Conference Paper Award
The Management Learning 'Most Thought-Provoking Paper' Award
Management Learning is a fully peer-reviewed, internationally-ranked journal that publishes original research articles on learning, knowing and managing in organizations. In its fifth decade of publication, the journal continues to provide a unique forum for critical inquiry, innovative ideas and dialogue. Articles published in the journal have two defining characteristics: they engage in critique, and are thought-provoking.
We are pleased to announce the Management Learning 'Most Thought-Provoking Paper' Award. The Award will be given to the paper that offers a challenge to existing ways of thinking about, or doing, research.
The paper receiving the award will be sent out to constructive review and fast-tracked through the system so that it will be published in the journal as soon as it is accepted. The winner will also receive a year’s free subscription to the journal.
If you would like your paper to be considered for the award, please email Ann at alcqrm@mgt.unm.edu by March 1st with a copy of your Abstract and indicate your intention to apply. Please send your full paper to Ann by March 31st.
