Accounting Program

Anderson offers a concentration in Accounting at the BBA level.

Anderson also offers four concentrations within the Masters of Accounting Program:

  • Advanced & Tax Concentrations for students with an undergraduate degree in Accounting;
  • Professional Concentration for students without an undergraduate degree in Accounting;
  • Information Assurance (IA) Concentration.

Mission Statement

The Department of Accounting's mission is to advance and disseminate scholarly research in theory and practice and provide excellence in accounting education. The department supports socially and environmentally responsible economic and community development in New Mexico through professional scholarship and interaction with the accounting community, commercial and not-for-profit organizations, and government agencies.
