Programmatic Learning Goals and Objectives
AACSB requires that faculty are continuously involved in the process of assuring students in our programs are learning. The AACSB standards for assurance of learning have two foundational goals: accountability and continuous improvement. Specifically, AACSB states that: "The school uses a well-documented, systematic process to develop, monitor, evaluate, and revise the substance and delivery of the curricula of degree programs and assesses the impact of the curricula on learning." Learning Objectives and Goals are methods for documenting the influence that Anderson's faculty and curriculum have on student learning over time.
A learning goal is general and broad in nature and is an outcome of a program of study. Learning objectives are brief, clear statements about what students will be able to do when they complete their program. The goals and objectives shown below have all been approved the Anderson School of Management faculty.
