Hi, I'm Xaver Neumeyer and I'm the new assistant professor for project management for the Department of Finance and Innovation. I'm teaching Management 519, Project Technology Commercialization. My research interests are located at the intersection of technology innovation and management. I'm particularly interested in how low-income individuals can bridge the digital divide and improve their personal circumstances.
I chose Anderson because of its commitment to research and student development. Particularly the Department of Finance and Innovation has some high caliber scholars in that field and so I'm excited to join them and publish some really good papers with them.
I'm a big outdoors fan and so I'm excited to visit the mountains and maybe see a little snow since I miss that from Germany.
Faculty Spotlight - Yongjim Kim

Hello, my name is Yongjim Kim. I'm an assistant professor in the Department of Finance and Innovation. I joined the Anderson School of Management in August 2020.
I chose Anderson because in my job market I was impressed by faculty and staff here taking great care of students. I find that we recognize that many of our students are first generation and they have the first college experience in their family. Anderson staff are trying continuously to help students succeed in their college life and future career. For instance, we have a learning lab where students can stop by any time, whenever they have some questions in lessons or the assignment. Our staff keep in touch with employers and try to identify some specific skills required in the current job market and try to train students in that way. I believe this is the ideal approach all universities should take and I'd like to contribute to this endeavor.
I'm excited about the chance for outdoor activity so I'm looking forward to seeing the Balloon Fiesta in coming months, and the Sandia Peak and many national parks and historical sites.
I would like to try green chile; I've heard a lot about it but I haven't have a chance yet. Since I'm Korean, I think I can handle many spicy foods, but I will see.
