Anderson Schools Announce Summer Certificate Programs

May 13, 2002

The Management Development Center at UNM’s Anderson Schools of Management is offering three certificate programs this summer. The programs are Coaching Skills for Managers, Basic Management and Advanced Management. These programs offer professionals the opportunity to develop and improve job-related skills in just 12 weeks without having to be formally admitted or enrolled in the University.

The Coaching Skills for Managers Certificate Program is designed for managers, supervisors, team leaders, human resource and organizational development professionals wanting to learn coaching and advanced communications skills. Coaching is a system that promotes innovation and accelerates results, improves retention and development, and facilitates improved communication.

The Basic and Advanced Management Certificate Programs are designed to improve individual and group productivity and job performance. These courses address the operational, managerial and strategic issues confronting today’s organizations. Participants will focus on practical issues related to their organizations and have the ability to network with individuals with similar experiences.

Courses begin May 31st and registrations are now being taken. Participants registering before May 24th receive a $50 discount. Full and part-time Anderson School faculty and a select group of consultants will conduct these practical and interactive programs. For a free brochure or to register, call (505) 277-2525.
