Anderson Schools Student Organization To Host Ethics in Business Competition

Net Impact, a student organization at The Anderson Schools of Management at The University of New Mexico, is hosting an Ethics in Business Case Competition that will run from Thursday, October 23 through Saturday, October 25.

Nine student teams, each with 2-4 students, will participate. The purpose of the competition is to provide students with an opportunity to learn about and promote ethical management practices related to a real-life business issue. The teams will compete in comprehending, analyzing and presenting the issues of the case before judges from the academic and business communities.

The public is encouraged to attend the final round of the competition on Saturday, October 25, beginning at 2 pm at The Anderson Schools, Room 1064. A reception and awards ceremony will follow from 4-6 pm.

Major sponsors of the event are Ford Motor Company and Samaritan Counseling Center. Judges are from Wells Fargo Bank, PNM, Presbyterian Healthcare Services, Sandia National Labs, and Keleher & McLeod, P.A.

Net Impact is a progressive network of up-and-coming business leaders who are committed to using the power of business to create a better world.
