Anderson Schools Announce Quality Management Certificate Program

February 4, 2004

Studies by NIST, universities, business organizations, and the U.S. General Accounting Office have found that investing in quality principles and performance excellence pays off in increased productivity, satisfied employees and customers, and improved profitability—both for customers and investors. The Quality Management Certificate Program, offered by the Management Development Center at UNM’s Anderson Schools of Management, provides CEOs, business executives, mid-level managers and employees committed to improving their organizations the knowledge and skills needed to implement a quality management program within their organizations.

Whether an organization is small or large, public or private, service or manufacturing, nonprofit or for profit, this 12-week course will provide a valuable framework for quality excellence and will help participants identify and assess performance on a wide range of key business indicators. Each week participants will have an opportunity to assess quality initiatives within their organization.

This noncredit certificate program offered by the Management Development Center provides the opportunity for personal and professional development without being formally admitted or enrolled in the University. The Quality Management Certificate Program will be held on Wednesday evenings, March 3 through May 19 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the State Bar of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Early registration is highly recommended as this class fills quickly. For a free brochure or to register,
