Anderson Schools Announce New Marketing Essentials Certificate Program

In today’s fast-paced, highly competitive market - knowing all you can about marketing is imperative to your success. The Marketing Essentials Certificate Program will help you truly understand how to make marketing work for your organization. You will learn the best way to advertise and how to get your name out in the community in an affordable and effective manner.

Each week participants will gain a set of skills, procedures, and tools in order to understand the role of marketing. The concepts learned will enable them to increase the effectiveness and profitability of their organizations. The 12-week course offered this spring by the Management Development Center at UNM’s Anderson Schools of Management is designed specifically to provide non-marketing managers, small business owners, nonprofit directors, and government employees an understanding of marketing functions and concepts.

This noncredit certificate program provides the opportunity for personal and professional development without being formally admitted or enrolled in the University. The Marketing Certificate Program will be held on Wednesday evenings, March 3rd through May 19th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Early registration is highly recommended as this class is expected to fill quickly.
