Anderson Schools Foundation Board Announces New Members

The University of New Mexico’s Anderson Schools of Management is pleased to announce the addition of new members to its Foundation Board.

Each year, the Board’s Recruiting and Nominating Committee invites key members of Albuquerque’s business community - many of whom are Anderson alumni - to serve two-year terms, providing direction and support to The Anderson Schools’ mission. In addition to serving in an advisory capacity to Dean Chuck Crespy, the Board sponsors the annual Hall of Fame banquet and generates resources for The Schools’ nationally-recognized programs.

Joining the Board as of July 1, 2004 are: Don Border, Chief Financial Officer, Laguna Industries; Carol M. Cochran, Principal, REDW Business & Financial Resources, LLC; Michael A. Mimovich, CPA, Atkinson & Company, Ltd.; Lisa Roussos, Global Collections Analyst/Vice President, Citigroup; Rodney J. Sanchez; Worldwide Manager - Community Solutions Program, Intel Corp.; and Ron Smith, President & CEO, Compass Bank.

Members of the 2004-2005 Anderson Schools Foundation Board Executive Committee are Kathy Sporing (Regional Private Banking Manager, Wells Fargo Bank), Chair; Kim Nunley (Managing Partner, Grant Thornton), Vice-Chair/Treasurer; Wayne Davenport (CFO & Secretary-Treasurer, Jaynes Corp.), Past-Chair; Charlie Moore, Esq. (Keleher & McLeod, P.A.), Secretary; Robert B. Anderson (entrepreneur), Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee; John Brown (Partner, Sandia Capital Partners, LLC), Chair of the Public Relations Committee; and Terry Horn (Vice President & Treasurer, PNM), Chair of the Recruiting and Nominating Committee.
