  • About Tiffini: Tiffini Porter is a graduate of UNM with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism. Prior to coming to Anderson, Tiffini worked with the UNM Enrollment Services Division and was a sports reporter and photographer for the Valencia County News-Bulletin. As an undergraduate, Tiffini interned with the Walt Disney Company at Walt Disney World, an experience that has proven to be an asset in her professional career life at all levels. Tiffini is a strong advocate for the Disney College Program, and encourages all Anderson students to explore intership opportunities as undergraduates. Tiffini is currently working on her Masters of Public Administration degree at UNM.

  • About Florencio: Florencio Olguin Jr. is a graduate of UNM with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Journalism & Mass Communication. Prior to joining the Anderson team, he was a staff member with the UNM Office of the Registrar. Through his leadership positions as an undergraduate student, which included roles as President of the Student Union Building Board and Executive Director of Governmental Affairs for the ASUNM Student Government, Florencio realized his passion for the field of higher education. He enjoys helping students at Anderson realize their full potential and encourages students to get involved on campus. Florencio is currently pursuing his Master of Public Administration degree at UNM.

  • About Nicole: Nicole Capehart is a Graduate Advisor for Anderson. She began her career at UNM as the Transition Advisor in July of 2010 and transitioned into the Graduate Programs Advisor in February, 2011. Prior to coming to UNM in the summer of 2010, she was Human Resources Manager for a local small business. Nicole earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Maryland University College. Nicole began the MBA program at Anderson in spring 2013 and is currently pursuing a dual Policy & Planning and Human Resources/Organizational Behavior concentration in the program.

  • About Erick: Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Erick lived most of the time at the East Coast until he moved to NM. He earned his bachelor’s degree in International Business and MBA from The Richard Stockton College of NJ. Erick worked previously with New Jersey’s welfare programs and recipients of it. He loves traveling, food and music.

  • About Annie: Annie Glisson is the Coordinator of Admissions for the graduate level programs at the Anderson school of Management. She began her career at UNM as an administrative assistant for the School of Public Administration in October 1996 and moved to Anderson graduate admissions in 2002. In 2006, Annie represented the Anderson admission perspective as a part of the UNM Banner conversion project team. Annie is the mother of a UNM EMT student and is passionate about dancing the Argentine Tango.

  • About Megan: Megan Hearting is the Director of Talent Development at the Executive and Professional Education Center. Megan began her career at UNM as the Graduate Programs Advisor in September 2009 and transitioned into the Manager of Academic Advisement in February 2010. Megan was hired as the Director of Student Services in January of 2012 and moved into her new role as Student Success Manager for Executive and Professional Education in September 2013. Prior to coming to UNM in fall of 2009, she was a pre-AP chemistry teacher in Midland, Texas. Megan earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Education from NMSU. Megan will be graduating from the MBA program at Anderson in the fall of 2013.

Speed Advising!

Speed Advising for Pre-business and Admitted Anderson Students is located in the ANDERSON ADVISEMENT CENTER.

  • Pre-business Students: Wednesdays 1:30 PM – 4:00PM and Fridays 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
  • Admitted Anderson Students: Mondays 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Individual appointments for Pre-business students will remain in the University College Advisement Center.
