Anderson Schools Announce New Communicating Effectively at Work Certificate Program

Are you afraid of presenting to large or small audiences? Do you feel that your meetings are not productive or conducive to a more efficient work team? Do you need to enhance your writing skills? Do you have a fear of difficult conversations with your employees and colleagues? If so, the Communicating Effectively at Work Certificate Program is for you!

Participants in the Communicating Effectively at Work program will build confidence to eliminate presentation fears and learn proven techniques on the best ways to present to different audiences and discover the secrets of successful presentations. They will also develop the skills needed to resolve conflict, set clear expectations and hold people accountable and will be able to run productive meetings. Finally, participants will develop persuasive proposal writing skills along with a variety of other essential writing tools needed to be successful in today’s competitive business environment.

This 12-week noncredit certificate program offered by the Management Development Center provides the opportunity for personal and professional development without being formally admitted or enrolled in the University. The Communicating Effectively at Work Certificate Program will be held on Thursday evenings, March 4th through May 20th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Early registration is highly recommended as this class is expected to fill quickly.
