Second Annual Believe in New Mexico Symposium 2021

Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Investing in NM

About the Symposium

The Second Believe in New Mexico Symposium is a collaborative effort between the Anderson School of Management and Financing Change, a grassroots initiative to support business and investment in New Mexico.

The event will serve as a catalyst for changemakers and encourage a cross-sector dialogue between businesses, governments, academia and students to understand how responsible businesses can fuel economic development in New Mexico.

This day long, virtual event will feature:

  • Results of Anderson’s latest research on business models for social entrepreneurship and practices for increasing impact investing in New Mexico;
  • A panel of leading social entrepreneurs who will discuss opportunities and challenges about business having positive impact in the state;
  • A panel of thought leaders in the New Mexico finance and investment ecosystems who will share how impact investing is leading to positive changes;
  • Opportunities to share what projects you are working on and share helpful resources; and
  • Two distinguished keynote speakers.

The event took place on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 9am - 3:30pm via Zoom conferencing.
