The UNM Anderson School of Management has announced the permanent removal of the GMAT or GRE entrance exam requirements for application to its Executive MBA program. This change is effective immediately for all applying now for a June 2024 start.

Anderson joins the ranks of many top EMBA programs throughout the country, such as New York University, Northwestern University, the University of Southern California and the University of Michigan.

This change addresses the value in the applicant's career experience and the lessons each applicant has learned along the way. Removing the exam as a requirement rewards that experience.

Anderson’s EMBA program provides access to world-renowned faculty teaching cutting-edge research and best practices in business. This more individual, customized approach to the application process considers the whole person and their career journey. In doing so, Anderson is expanding access to its top graduate business program.

Its program is specifically designed for busy executives and business leaders. Classes are held live online on Saturdays beginning in June, with networking events, alumni engagement and global leadership focus. Classwork is done in a small team within a cohort model. By sharing ideas through class projects and face-to-face activities, students optimize their leadership development.
