Previous Honorees

The Anderson School of Management is proud to announce its 2020 Hall of Fame and Young Alumni Honorees. The Anderson Hall of Fame celebrates extraordinary alumni who have achieved professional success and have made significant contributions to their community.

The 31st Annual Hall of Fame Honorees are:

• John Chavez, Sandia Peak Ski Company
• Alicia Gutierrez, Moses, Dunn, Farmer, & Tuthill, P.C.
• Stephen Harper, the University of North Carolina - Wilmington
• David Jessen, the University of North Carolina – Wilmington

Nyika Allen, City of Albuquerque and Darrell Garcia, Hayes Middle School are the 2020 Young Alumni Award recipients, an honor recognizing Anderson graduates under the age of 40 who are impacting their communities and are making great strides in their professional careers.

The Faculty Community Leadership Award will honor Ann Brooks, Principal Lecturer of Accounting. During her tenure at Anderson, Ann has served as Director of Online Programs, Chair of the Anderson Scholarship Committee, Beta Alpha Psi Faculty Advisor, and was the founding member of UNM's Online Course Advisory Council. 

Professor Shawn Berman says the Anderson School is honored to celebrate the 2020 Hall of Fame honorees.

"We are extremely proud of the 31st class of inductees. Each one shows what can be accomplished with hard work, determination, and the tools provided through a quality business education. They truly shine within the business community and are actively leading the way for generations to come."

Hall of Fame candidates are selected for their professional success, contribution to the community, and their ongoing commitment to education.

All the funds generated from the event will go directly to UNM Anderson Student Scholarships.
