Albuquerque, N.M. -- The University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management has announced it will launch an MBA for Professionals program for early career professionals to begin in Fall 2021. This program will include tracks for professionals in health care, education and general management for incoming students starting in August 2021, with a best consideration deadline for applications of May 1.

The MBA for Professionals program is a part-time, evening program designed for working professionals with one or more years of work experience. Students will be able to progress through the program at their own pace, typically taking one or two courses per term. Students can complete their 43-credit hour program in as little as 18 months.

Integral to this program is coaching from industry professionals. Coaches will provide guidance and mentorship to help students connect the business curriculum with their career goals in each professional track.

“Through our new MBA for Professionals program, Anderson School of Management will provide the business fundamentals that are essential for emerging leaders,” said Mitzi Montoya, Anderson dean. “Capable leaders will help rebuild the New Mexico economy and position their organizations for success.”

For this application period, the GMAT or GME entrance exam requirement is waived. In addition, all UNM alumni automatically qualify for a Lobo for Life Scholarship to assist with tuition for this program.
