  • Kathryn Lueders, Starbase General Manager, SpaceX
  • Shannon Rainosek, CEO, Frontier Restaurant

The Young Alumni Award recognizes Anderson alumni under age 40 who are impacting their community and making great strides in their professional careers. This year’s Young Alumni honoree is:

  • Mike Duruaku, Director of Sales, Blue Buffalo

Interim Dean Julie Coonrod has expressed excitement to celebrate this year’s class, noting that each alum uniquely contributes to the betterment of their community through daily activities. “It’s my pleasure to meet and celebrate this year’s class of hard-working and exceptional individuals,” she said. “Each honoree is a guide to current students as their career examples offer roadmaps for those seeking direction and inspiration after graduation.”

UNM Anderson will celebrate this year’s honorees at a dinner with their families, friends, colleagues and school leadership Feb. 22. Brief videos about each honoree will premiere on Anderson’s YouTube channel and website that evening at 6 p.m.
