Anderson’s Executive MBA Class of 2025 is a highly skilled group of professionals representing the financial services, higher education, active military, government and private sector industries. The class consists of 46% women, 38% underrepresented students of color and 23% active military personnel.

In early June, the UNM Anderson School of Management welcomed the new Executive MBA Class of 2025. The cohort meets for all-day classes every other Saturday. Class days consist of two back-to-back online synchronous classes as well as two on-campus orientation and immersion weeks during the program. The June start date kicked off the group's 24-month program and concludes in May 2025.

This year's dynamic cohort is 46% women and 38% are underrepresented students of color. Additionally, 23% are active military or veteran students.

This highly skilled group represents a wide variety of industries, including financial services, higher education, active military, government and the private sector. Even more impressive is the aggregated work experience they share; over 120 years!

In the program's first year, students will take the Executive MBA core courses, which combine leadership principles with business fundamentals, such as business communication, statistical analysis and financial reporting.

Students will choose from one of three tracks in their second year. The track options are Global Leadership, Diversity Leadership and Science and Technology Leadership. At this time, the students will concentrate on their area of interest and complete their academic program with an immersive capstone class in the last semester.

Throughout the program, students will be able to maintain their busy professional and personal lives, while learning key leadership skills to help them advance in their careers and make innovative, evidence based, competent, and ethical decisions in their day-to-day work lives as senior-level directors and managers. "Throughout the program, our Executive MBA students engage in a fast-paced, fully supported learning environment that helps them improve their industry knowledge, confidence, communication and leadership potential, all of which will lead them into the next phase of their careers," said Rebecca Diemer, Anderson's senior director of student success.
